What is the process for a Network Rack Cleanup?

Ever situation is it’s own unique challenge. Our trained team will come to your site, evaluate what your system is and what it needs. From there, we will plan out your rack cleanup.

In many cases, we will have to very carefully work on your network while its still up and running. Our technicians will deal with your network very sensitively. The first step is to isolate what each cable goes to. This is a process of documentation and testing. Once we build the network around the new plan, we will need to take every device offline as we test, rewire and relabel.

Every current wire in that terminates at the rack will need to be toned out, tested, certified, and tagged. However, a new floor plan will be created showing each current wire and what is needed. In some cases, some of the wiring will need to be replaced, while others of it will just need to be rerouted and cleaned up.
